Work Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM – 6:30 PM (Subject to school dismissal times and transportation schedules)
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced on-site after-school teacher to support elementary students (K–3) during the after-school program. This role involves student transportation, on-site supervision, and the management of structured learning and activities.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working with groups of young children and can maintain clear routines, consistent expectations, and a strong focus on student safety in an active after-school environment. This position is best suited for educators who are familiar with after-school program operations and can work independently with a high level of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:

Drive a school bus or designated school vehicle to transport students between approved pickup/drop-off locations and the campus, following school procedures

Supervise and support elementary students (K–3) during after-school hours

Organize homework time, reading time, and structured activities according to program guidelines

Support students in following established rules and routines during activities and transitions

Monitor students’ emotional well-being, behavior, and safety, providing timely guidance and support

Ensure overall safety during transportation, activities, and waiting periods

Collaborate with the after-school program coordinator to complete daily operations and address on-site needs
Required Qualifications:

Prior experience working with young children (K–3) in a classroom, after-school program, or childcare setting

Ability to maintain an organized and structured environment while supervising multiple children

Strong sense of responsibility, safety awareness, and sound judgment

Valid driver’s license with the ability to operate a school bus or school-designated vehicle

Ability to pass required background checks and driving-related screenings

Reliable, consistent, and able to follow established procedures
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in an after-school program, elementary classroom, or childcare setting

Previous work in an extended-day program or a role involving student transportation

Familiarity with school routines and after-school program operations

Ability to commit to a stable, long-term after-school schedule
